Serving up a smooth, balanced cup of coffee, Ground by Bringing The Outside In (BTOI) sits in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea on Staithe Street, flanked by an enormous Holm oak tree which provides the perfect shady spot. For sun lovers, the large lawn has lots of outside seating. As well as serving locally roasted Black Cat coffee, Ground tempts many with its wide selection of cakes, a good deal of which are vegan. For those looking for lunch, there are wholesome salads and toasted sandwiches; their meat and plant-based sausage rolls are large, moreish and, according to GQ magazine, the best sausage rolls in the area.
