The Rumsey Wells
Dedicated to the art of good drinking, The Rumsey Wells in Norwich is a large, welcoming city centre pub loved by serious cask ale and craft beer drinkers, pie fans, rum lovers and world music aficionados alike.
The Rumsey Wells has a fine selection of pies from Bristol-based stalwarts Pieminister and serves local-based Brick Pizza too. There is always a bustling programme of events – on any given night you can expect West African calypso, northern soul or rockabilly from the American South floating through the bar, as well as quiz and live music events.
Head downstairs to the intimate dive-bar style Underbelly to be initiated into the Rum Club with over 30 golden, white, dark and spiced rums to choose from. It gets especially lively on the weekends, when you’ll also find local DJ collectives spinning tunes.
