Award-winning, artisan, plant-based micro bakery Loaf specialises in sourdough, hand-laminated pastries and cinnamon buns served together with single-origin coffee. Open 9am–3pm, the popular neighbourhood bakery in the historic market town of Wymondham serves a varied selection of sourdough breads, stoneground white and spelt baguettes and sweeter treats, such as cookies, alongside its cinnamon buns. Loaf’s organic sourdough loaves are made over three days lovingly by hand, starting with the 12-hour leaven, then mixing and shaping, followed by the slow overnight process which adds to the loaves’ delicious, unique sour character and digestibility. Loaf uses a blend of organic ingredients, carefully sourced, which support the micro bakery’s passion for regenerative food systems and ethical farming.
